Zoho Writer comes with a few tools to assist with spelling and word choice. You can check spelling, consult a thesaurus, change your spellcheck language and add new industry-specific words to your dictionary.
You can turn spell check on or off as and when you like. If you are working on a professional document, you will definitely want to avoid mistakes. On the other hand, if you are working on a document with transliterated words, spell check can be turned off.
To turn spell check off:
Note : To turn on spell check, click Show Spelling Errors. The Spell Check option must be turned on to change or edit options related to this feature, like changing the spell check language or finding the correct spelling.
You can select from a list of spell check languages in Zoho Writer.
To change the spellcheck language:
Note : Spell check must be turned on to make the above selection. If it is turned off, click Show Spelling Errors to turn it on.
You can add new words to the dictionary so that the spellcheck does not count them as errors.
To add words to the dictionary:
The thesaurus helps you find and replace words with synonyms or other related words.
To use the thesaurus:
Note : You can also manually enter any word in the search tab and click Look Up to find alternate words.
