General Settings

Modify Application Name/Application Link Name

By default, the Zoho Creator application name and application link name are the same. If the application name contains white spaces, it is replaced by a "hypen" in the application link name. For example, if the application name is "Employee Manager", the default application link name is "employee-manager".
Zoho Creator provides the flexibility to modify the application name or the application link name, anytime by specifying the new name in the Application Settings dialog. Click Save button to save the changes.

Signin using

You can choose the Sign in option for your users as Zoho, Google, GoogleApps or Yahoo. The default sign-in option is Zoho. For example, if the application is set to use Google sign-in, the shared users will be directed to Google's login page and application will be accessible after entering their Gmail username/password. A zoho account for each user will be automatically created and they need not sign-up for zoho.

Show Federated Logins

If the sign-in option is selected as Zoho, the application owner can choose to show or hide the federated login options like Google, Yahoo and GoogleApps, in the Signin dialog. Selecting Yes will display the federated logins in the Zoho login page. Selecting No will hide the federated logins from the Zoho login page, allowing users to signin only through Zoho.

Show Signup Link

If the sign-in option is selected as Zoho, the application owner can choose to show or hide the Zoho Signup link to shared users. Selecting Yes will display the Zoho Signup link using which the users will be able to signup with Zoho. Selecting No will not display the sign up link to shared users

Choose Developer

If a shared user is configured as a "developer", the developer's email ID will be listed in the Choose Developer drop down of the Application Settings dialog, for all the applications. To provide edit permission to the developer to edit a specific application, the owner should go to the Application Settings of that particular application and click on the Add Developer link diplayed beside the text box for Choose Developer. In the Add Developer dialog, enter the email address of the user, who should be configured as a developer. Click Add to add the user as a developer.

Set Date Format

Zoho Creator supports multiple date formats. To set a date format for your application, select the required format from the Date Format drop-down list in the Application Settings dialog. The default date format is "dd-MMM-yyyy". Click Save button to save the configurations.

Set Time Zone

Zoho Creator supports various Time Zones. Users have the flexibility of choosing different Time Zones for each application that they create in Zoho Creator. To set the required time zone, select the time zone relevant to your locale from Time Zone dropdown menu in the Application Settings dialog. Click Save button to save the configurations.

Allow HTML Tags (This option is deprecated)

To execute HTML tags in field values set the "Allow HTML Tags option to "Yes" in the Application Settings dialog. To stop executing HTML tags, set the "Allow HTML Tags option to "No". Click Save button to save the configurations. For example, the html tags <br> used to insert line breaks in field values, will be executed only if the "Allow HTML Tags" option is set to "Yes".

Retain Search And Filters Applied In A View

Zoho Creator lets users to retain the search and filters applied in a view. Keeping this option checked will let the users to do so, even when the view is reloaded. Uncheck this option to stop retainging the Search criterias and filters applied to the view.
